Here's what you need to know in joining CodrSchool:
- This internship program is open to all incoming 4th year students from computer-related courses.
- CodrSchool welcomes applications from individuals or groups of up to 3 members.
- Using a web-based coaching application, interns work from anywhere.
- CodrSchool is a year-long program.
- Every year, the internship program starts on April 15th and ends on Feb 15th.
- Three (3) months is allocated for learning and starting on actual work on a small project.
- The rest of the internship period will be allocated to finishing the project at the interns' own free time.
- Interns work on open source projects to fork as small projects; or
- Interns may contribute code to open source projects
- Meet-ups are to be held every 2 weeks.
- Instead of conducting lectures, interns report on assigned topics and discuss these with the rest of the team.
As part of the CodrSchool program, we provide interns the following benefits:
- Monthly internship allowance
- Access to mini-library
- Movie, dinner, and beach outings
- DOTA weeknights (for those who play)
We welcome individual, as well as group applicantions; however, all applicants undergo the following steps:
- All applicants (whether individual or group) answer the open-ended online questions.
- Selected applicants take the technical & logic exam at a specified testing center.
- Exam passers create and submit a proposal for a future project with the program.*
- The project proposal will be presented before the selection team.
- The selection team conducts final interview.
